I’m Mike Karim, planting Faculty Ministry chapters for InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Occidental College and Caltech, as well as other witness and service among graduate students and faculty in SoCal. I’m married, a father, a PhD student in Missiology at Fuller Theological Seminary, and a photographer.
Much of my interest in Missiology (the critical study of Christian mission) surrounds the university as a center of western culture. My research topic regards how Asian American freshmen make decisions that influence their faith commitment during the first year of university life.
I am also an inveterate drinker of Peet’s Coffee.
